Terms of Service

Rules for using VeloConquest, including Strava integration, fair play, virtual territory and account responsibilities.

Effective: 26 August 2026Version 1.1

1. About VeloConquest

VeloConquest is a cycling territory and competition service that can import authorized third-party activity data, analyze GPS route geometry, identify eligible loops, calculate territory and maintain rankings.

2. Eligibility and account

You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for keeping your authentication methods secure. You must use VeloConquest only where you are legally permitted to do so and in accordance with the terms of any connected third-party service.

3. Strava integration

Strava is an independent third-party service. Connecting Strava authorizes VeloConquest to access data within the scopes you approve. Strava availability, API limits, changes or outages may affect VeloConquest. Strava is not responsible for VeloConquest.

4. Fair play

Competition requires genuine eligible outdoor cycling activities. You must not manipulate GPS data, spoof locations, upload fabricated rides, use motor vehicles as cycling activities, exploit defects, interfere with validation, or otherwise attempt to obtain territory, scores or rankings unfairly.

VeloConquest may automatically reject, exclude, recalculate or remove activities and derived competition results when integrity checks indicate that they do not satisfy the competition rules.

5. Territory is virtual

VeloConquest territory, strongholds, leagues and scores are game concepts only. They do not create ownership, access, property, safety or other real-world rights over land or roads.

6. Safe cycling

You remain responsible for route choice, traffic laws, road/trail access rules, weather, equipment and personal safety. Never use the app in a way that distracts you while riding. VeloConquest does not guarantee that any route or area is safe, open or legally accessible.

7. Leaderboards and profile visibility

If leaderboard visibility is enabled, selected profile and competition information may be shown to other signed-in users. You can change the visibility option in your profile settings where supported.

8. Your content and data

You retain rights you already have in your information. You grant VeloConquest the limited rights needed to host, process, transform and display your authorized data solely to operate, secure and improve the service and its competition features.

9. Service availability

VeloConquest is under active development. Features, scoring rules, quality-control thresholds, leagues and availability may change. We may perform maintenance or temporarily suspend functions to protect users, data or service integrity.

10. Account suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, abuse, fraud, security threats or manipulation of competition. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time through the available deletion flow.

11. Intellectual property

The VeloConquest name, branding, software, scoring systems, design and service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of VeloConquest intellectual property to you.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VeloConquest is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free territory calculations or permanent availability of third-party integrations. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Privacy

Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. Account deletion is available at Delete Account.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will be shown through an updated effective date and any additional notice required by law.

15. Governing law and operator

VeloConquest is operated by Tomasz Ogrodowczyk, individual developer, Bajkowa 23, 71-799 Szczecin, Poland. These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply in the country where you live and that cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement.
